Monday
We need to complete editing and upload the test footage from last week. Daisy needs to contact her friend who is going to be the Adele character, make sure she has her costume and has learnt the lyrics.
Tuesday
In this lesson we need to collect all equipment and paper work, this includes:
- Call sheets
- Storyboard and shot list
- Camera
- Tripod
- Dolly
- Two lights (with gels if available)
- Costumes
- Two rings
- 'Fake' photos
- Camera to take photos for Digipack/Magazine
- Song on iPod/Phone
Travel to the University Arms for 5PM. Spend the first 30 minutes setting up and preparing the actors. The remaining two and a half hours can be used to film the hotel narrative, and experiment with many different camera angles and shots. Aim to shoot every shot three times, and then spend time experimenting with lights and other camera shots which could be used in the parallel editing.
Wednesday
George and Sam will return the camera, tripod, dolly and lights from the previous day. No lesson this day, but a blog post should be created which evaluates the first day of filming.
Thursday
We need to collect all the equipment again for this day, except lights and fake photos will not be needed. Can start as soon as possible, take advantage of the lighting available. Film in chronological order as the light will look like it's naturally fading, shows continuity. The rings are really important for this day.
Friday
First return all the equipment. Evaluate the second day of filming, identify if we need to do further filming by checking over footage. Begin some editing for rough cut if time is available.
