University Arms Hotel

Our narrative requires a hotel room scene, after much thought we have decided that the best location would be the University Arms hotel in Cambridge. It is very suitable for the filming, and will offer a dramatic setting for our Adele character. The hotel is located not far form the other areas that we need to film, giving us the opportunity to quickly get to the street scene. Below are some photos from inside the hotel. You will see that they have a very traditional look to them, which we feel will suit our characters, especially if a blue filter is applied during editing.

I have contacted the University Arms to form some sort of agreement. I first tried via email, but had no response. Therefore I telephoned the hotel today and found that I needed to talk to the sales department. Eventually we got around to the deal of 17:00 to 20:00 (more than enough) where we can film in a family room, we are not able to use any of the room facilities and it will got a small sum of £25. Having said this, we believe that it is worth the money as we will have the best location possible and plenty of time for filming. Upon visiting the location there will also be photos and analysis of the room.
